부처의 머리가 그 크기의 몇 배나 되는 금속 덩어리들을 받치고 있다. 차갑고 거칠고 무거운 금속 덩어리들을 바닥에 깔린 채 불편하게 견디고 있는 모습과는 상반되게 부처의 얼굴은 그저 평온한 미소를 띠고 있을 뿐이다. 언제나 자비롭고 고요한 부처는 지금도 정말 평온한걸까. 하지만 그럼에도 느껴지는 이 기묘한 이질감은 보는 사람으로 하여금 각자만의 의심과 상상력을 자극한다.

The Buddha's head supports metal plates several times its size. Contrary to the cold, rough and heavy metal that is uncomfortably enduring it on the floor, the Buddha's face is just a peaceful smile. Is the always merciful and calm Buddha still really calm? Nevertheless, this bizarre sense of heterogeneity stimulates the viewer's own doubt and imagination.
