Peep이라는 단어는 ‘작은 틈으로 엿보다-, 살짝 보다-’ 라는 의미를 가진 단어로 사람들은 평소보다 더욱 작은 틈새를 통해 반사되는 모습을 볼 수 있다. 이처럼 낯설게 바라보는 방식에 누군가는 가볍게 자신의 얼굴을 살펴보고 휙 스쳐지나갈 것이다. 또 다른 누군가는 작은 틈새로 비치는 스스로를 열심히 들여다보며 비로소 스스로와 직면하고 어쩌면 자신에게서 잊고 있던 것이나 새로움을 찾을 수도 있을 것이다.

The word "peep" means 'to look through a small opening, to glance'. People can see themselves reflected through an even smaller gap than usual. In this way, some might casually glance at their face and quickly move on. Others might intently examine themselves through the small gap, finally confronting themselves and perhaps discovering something they had forgotten or finding something new within themselves.
